“Sea level rise and flood protection” - A panel discussion

On April 2, an event on “Sea Level Rise and Flood Protection” took place at the Kunsthalle Bremen to promote the exchange between politics, science and society. At the panel discussion, METAscales doctoral student Lena Lankenau, among others, answered questions from the audience, which was made up of numerous representatives from Bremen's city council, NGOs and other stakeholders. In addition to general climate trends and options for action, extreme events and their consequences were also discussed.
